How to Connect Huawei SCharger with the Coppen Clara App

Huawei SCharger connects via OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol).

Preconditions

  • Ensure your Huawei SCharger is online and connected to the internet.
  • Your charger must support OCPP 1.6.
  • In Coppen Clara, add a Huawei SCharger and copy the OCPP link in this format: ocppconnect.net/<id>.

Connecting Your Huawei SCharger with Coppen Clara

  1. Open Coppen Clara and add a new Huawei SCharger.
  2. Copy the OCPP link shown in Coppen Clara.
  3. Open the Huawei charger settings and go to OCPP.
  4. Enter the following values:
Huawei field Value
Domain ocppconnect.net
Port 80
Path <id>
Username <id> or device serial number
Password any value

<id> is the part after / in your app link (ocppconnect.net/<id>).

  1. Save the settings and wait for the charger to connect.
